Kurt Braunohler, your Nazi IT guy

"I'm not straight up German, but I kind of look like the IT guy from the Nazis."

New York comedian Kurt Braunohler is quite aware of his rather SS appearance, but pictures himself more as the guy who troubleshot code breaking machines - also technically known as Nerdenfixen.

Fortunately, he's just a comedian whose evil really only seems to extend as far as messing with people on the internet. (Which, let’s face it, is pretty much everyone’s civic duty.)

"I go on Wikipedia and alter pages of animals with fake facts that I've made up about those animals," he says. "Because if you're looking up a parakeet on Wikipedia - go (expletive) yourself."

Alas, some poor sad bastard out there now believes "Parakeets live for approximately fifteen human years, or one-million parakeet years."

Naturally, he's taken his little hobby of harmless lies to a new, somewhat-professional level. Check out Kurt Braunohler's World Wild of Animals.

It's not surprising that Braunohler eventually became a comedian - he's always wanted the attention of an audience.

He says, "I grew up very Catholic. I wanted to be a priest."

To him, the altar was just a big stage.

In the end, his failure to become a priest simply came down to the not-having-sex part. And, perhaps somewhat poetically, it was actually having sex that eventually lead to what he calls the weirdest time of his life.

These adventures in coitus later became the basis for a one-hour stand-up act that Braunohler named: "The Amish Guide to F-ing."

Watch our video interview to see what that's all about. (Hint: It's about f-ing.)

Among his other projects, Braunohler is also known for having teamed up with "The Daily Show" correspondent, Kristen Schaal, on a short comedy series with a small cult-following called "Penelope: Princess of Pets."

But don't let the title fool you. The Nazi IT guy explains it's not as strange as it sounds.

"It's about a girl who can talk to animals and has to save the world by killing a senator."

Okay. Maybe it is.
